Engaging the core – Distance from seat to handlebar

To ensure the engagement of your core to be at the right cycling angle, your seat and the handlebar should be roughly one forearm. To adjust the distance by loosening the knob underneath the chair. It will slide front and back on the seat post.

As this does not have a click mechanism, make sure to really tighten the knob underneath by turning clockwise.

Optimal power – Seat height

Power comes from both your core and your legs. In order to reach your optimal power to really push on those work outs, you need the right seat height. Your leg should be slightly bent at the knee when the pedal rests at the bottom of the cycle.

Necessary support - Handle bar height

The height of your handle bars is equivalent to the amount of support you get when really pushing forwards. When incorrectly adjusted, it forces bad posture which will result in injuries after prolonged use of the bike. To ensure an ergonomic ride, adjust handlebar so it is the same level as the seat. This ensures that you get the support when riding and leaning forward whilst also engaging your core.
